An Artist Reflects, Like A Mirror, Like A Lake.
They can't help it. It's a matter of need and desperation. They may be doing it for sympathy, yet if you give sympathy to them, it won't help. It won't help them or anybody. Any artist doing it only for pity deserves only pity.
We live in an age of many great artists. Still, the best are not easy to find. The few who have captured the most media attention seem to have peaked decades ago. I could say the same about myself, so I always encourage younger artist to create fresh products. If some Debbie Downers say it's all been done, ignore it. Prove them wrong. Sure the past is influential, but the myriad of hybrids and personal styles and brands has scarcely been born.
And then there's the BREAKTHROUGH. An A-bomb of new thought. You have it in you. Let it out. And above all, let me know about it.
Here's some pieces I've been working on this week.
In some of these, I've purposely morphed some of the work of others, AI designers and photographers. If you are one of those and object to my use, please let me know and I will take it down. I assure you, at this juncture, none of it is for sale or resale. If you have any art you'd like to display on this ETERNALISM blog, send it and I will likely display it.
