Not many of Today's American conservative Christians openly acknowledge (or are ever aware of) Founding Father Thomas Jefferson's rewrite of the New Testament, which dwells more of the teachings of Jesus and omits all the supernatural stories, which Jefferson felt insulted the intelligence of Christians everywhere. Due to this, he was accused of being an atheist when he ran for President.

What if Jesus was just some guy? Would it make his philosophy any less valid? I don't think so.
